A joint Life Member Affinity Group Meeting was held in conjunction with the 2025 Annual Czechoslovakia Section Meeting in Prague, on the premises of the Institute of Experimental and Applied Physics at the Czech Technical University in Prague. The Life Member Affinity Group meeting took place on December 12, 2025, preceding the main Annual Section Meeting. During the meeting, a report on the 2025 status of the Life Member Affinity Group highlighted the increasing number of Life Members. A lively discussion followed, resulting in plans to explore opportunities in 2026 for advancing IEEE Milestone proposals. As part of the program, IEEE Life Member prof. Jan Vobecký delivered an engaging presentation on his professional career in relation to IEEE, as well as his research in the field of Power Semiconductors.
